About Project

Today, when we see the deadly effects of bombs all over the world, and the risky and hazardous process of bomb diffusion, we have developed a technology which can substitute the human indulgence in this risky job by a robot. When we researched for the project, we found that hand movement control of a robot was quite an untouched technology. Thus, we decided to make a robot controlled by hand movements. The user has to touch the transmission panel and the arm will move. The movement of robot is also controlled wirelessly. we can also customize it into various other applications.

Risks and challenges

Risk:

The speed of arm motion is completely dependent on the swiftness and grip of user in moving hand on the panel.

Challenges:

The biggest challenge for us is to increase the range of working the arm as wide as possible.

how will the arm diffuse bomb ?
the arm has a gripper attached to it with blades. When the gripper is closed the wire will get cut.
what do u mean by controlling through hand movements ?
The user has to move the hand on the panel, and the arm will work according to it.
what else it can be used for ?
It can be customized according to the user usage. It can be used as a mop, or a water sprinkler, or a moving camera.
what is the approximate size of both transmitter and receiv ?
The transmitter can be reduced into 3 sheets and it fits into a space of 15 *15cms. And, receiver arm can be fitted into approximately 20*15 cm space.
