About Project

We want to establish a Parkour and Freerunning academy. Parkour & Freerunning is a kind of fitness regime. We want to spread awareness about this fitness regime among people of India.

Introduction :

Parkour is an art of overcoming physical and psychological obstacles using the most efficient way possible. It uses certain techniques and body movements.
It is a fitness regime that includes a mix of running, jumping, climbing, crawling and vaulting. Urbanization of Parkour gave birth to Freerunning. When movements of Parkour are mixed with gymnastics and acrobatics, it becomes Freerunning.

Benefits :

  • Full - body workout leaving you in a great shape :Back LeverSince everything is about 'movement' this involves one having to 'move' every part of their body i.e Cardiovascular exercise.

    Finally resulting one getting fitter and fitter day by day. A full body workout leaving you in a great shape.
  • Think on your feet :

Since this form of exercise involves negotiating obstacles that require one to make choices to very quickly, this results in practice for the mind as well, as it makes one to think on their feet.In turn, with each success that you achieve in negotiating an obstacle, you begin to trust your choices, as instinctive as they might be.

  • Confidence :

It involves exercises which makes one to trust his/her body. While most people would avoid jumping a fence but finding an easier path around, Parkour athlete would think of the most efficient way by which one can negotiate this obstacle based on the training that he or she has received. And it is this can-do attitude that can lead to greater confidence that can spread to other areas of your lives.

Potential Long Term Impact :

If you have the creative ability to turn a simple park into a playground, a gym, and a public stage then you have the potential for lifelong physical and mental fitness. This is what parkour can do. Parkour may prevent you from the medical conditions like cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity, the risks of colon cancer, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, lipid disorders, depression and anxiety.

There is some Number of rewards you can get if you will try to help us and parkour community.your small or big fund can change the youth and teenagers at fitness perfoming and health level.

Risks and challenges

Level of fitness is very low especially among teenagers. With the help of Parkour, we can help at - risk youth as well as adults and aged people. We can teach them how to use the environment to get fit. Low fitness level leads to low self - esteem, people who have low self - esteem will also be benefited by this art because it helps one to build self confidence.

We are not responsible for the acts of any person who tries to imitate us or does anything without our supervision. And we will not be responsible for any foolish act done by any person who is following us.

Yes, obviously you can do it. If we can do it then, you can do it too. It is not a rocket science or a super human thing. There is no age and gender limit. If you are fat then, you should definitely do it because it will give you a whole body workout
Why are we doing this ?
Answer is simple, it helps us to build confidence on our own body and strengthen muscles. It keeps us fit physically as well as mentally. It helps us to trust our body and instincts.
How much time does it take ?
It completely depends on you how passionately you practice it. It usually takes less time than you think.
What would you do with the funds ?
We will build an academy where we can train people the art of Parkour & Freerunning. Right now we do not have enough funds to make a big academy where we can train people.We will buy the equipment needed to start the academy using the funds we get.
What would you do after your project gets successful ?
We will establish and Parkour & Freerunning academy. And we will try to spread this art in the country.
